Appeal for Aid

The Institute has come a long way in its strive towards women's empowerment and emancipation. It is one of the pioneers in vocational training for women in Sierra Leone. 

 

Vocational training involves a lot of practical work and within the fast growth of the roll, equipment for practical work is grossly inadequate. This inadequacy affects the performance of students and overall output of the Institute. 

 

The inadequacy also acts as a deterrent for effective teaching/learning to take place. Like any other vocational Institute however, there are constraints which must be addressed to ensure sustainability and quality service.

The procurement of materials and equipment constitute a major constraint in the light of new challenges brought about by improved technology and methodology. The Institute has launched an appeal both locally and abroad for donation of used or new equipment for the following departments:
